What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.

The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and website the bonus terms, website is at Trade The Day.
